Hermes Agent

Hermes Agent is an open-source AI agent from Nous Research built for people who want a persistent agent instead of a one-off chatbot. It runs through desktop, CLI, messaging apps, servers, or cloud backends, then keeps memory, project context, skills, and tool configuration across sessions. The product is strongest for technical users who want an agent that can live outside a single IDE. Hermes can work through Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, email, CLI, and other gateways, while using tools for web search, browsing, image generation, TTS, voice mode, MCP servers, cron scheduling, terminals, and sandboxed execution. Its learning loop is the main difference.
